Vistara Inaugurates Services To The Pink City – Jaipur

By Staff Correspondent

Vistara, an Indian full-service carrier, today inaugurated double daily flights between Mumbai and Jaipur. The inaugural flight departed from Mumbai at 1140 Hours and arrived at Jaipur International Airport at 1330 Hours. With this, travellers between the two cities will, for the first time, have the choice of flying India’s only Premium Economy class, in addition to Business and Economy. The airline will use its Airbus A320neo aircraft to operate the route.

Vinod Kannan, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara, said, “Jaipur has not only played a significant role in putting Indian tourism on the global map, but it is also a major hub for trade, requiring greater connectivity to metro cities. We are delighted to add Jaipur to our growing network, with connectivity to and from Mumbai, and convenient international connections beyond Mumbai. We firmly believe that Vistara’s widely appreciated product and globally awarded service make for just the right combination to suit the market requirements and customers’ demand.”

Vistara now flies to five cities outside of India from Mumbai, including Bangkok, Dubai, Jeddah, Male and Singapore. Additionally, operations between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi will commence from 1 October 2022. Travellers can transit through Mumbai and seamlessly take onward connections to these cities.

Vistara is India’s highest-rated airline on Skytrax and TripAdvisor, and it has been the winner of several ‘Best Airline’ awards, besides being lauded for world-class cabin cleanliness and upholding high safety standards. The airline has recently been recognised as the ‘Best Airline in India and SouthAsia’ for the second time in a row and won the ‘Best Airline Staff Service in India and SouthAsia’ award for the fourth consecutive year at the coveted Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022.

In a short span of seven years since starting operations, Vistara has been setting global benchmarks for operations and service standards in the Indian aviation industry to become the country’s most loved airline and has recently crossed the milestone of flying 35 million passengers.
