Experience the Most Breathtaking Spectacle at the Singapore Airshow 2024

By Chaitali Bag

From February 20th to the 25th, 2024, the Changi Exhibition Centre will play host to the Singapore Airshow. The event will feature eight aerial demonstrations, including a flypast by two commercial businesses and six air forces.

The Singapore Airshow is hosting more international flying teams than ever before, including the Indian Air Force’s Sarang, which is making its debut appearance at the event with its aerobatic acrobatics. Included in the lineup are the Roulettes from the Royal Australian Air Force, Jupiter from the Indonesian Air Force, and Black Eagles from the Republic of Korea Air Force. Also scheduled for 22 February is a flypast by the B-52 Stratofortress of the United States Air Force.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force’s integrated aerial display squad, which includes an F-15SG fighter jet and the AH-64D Apache attack helicopter, is at the top of the list.

At Asia’s most important aerospace and defence exhibition, the C919, a narrow-body airliner built by Chinese aircraft manufacturer COMAC, will be making its debut flight at Singapore Airshow. Airbus’ A350-1000, a commercial airliner that has captivated audiences with its elegant and efficient design, is about to return for another spectacular aerial performance.

“Flying performances are always a key highlight at Singapore Airshow,” stated Mr. Leck Chet Lam of Experia, the operator of the Singapore Airshow. We expect a lot of people to be interested in the future flying performances because the public was either not allowed or only given restricted access in the first two rounds because of safety precautions taken during a pandemic. We are ecstatic to have returning favourites as well as new flying teams and aircraft at the Singapore Airshow.

The flying displays will take place once daily at 12:30pm on February 20, 11:30am on February 21, and 2:30pm on February 22. On February 24 and 25, they will be conducted twice a day at Weekend@Airshow, formerly known as Public Days.

Taking place every two years, the Singapore Airshow is the preeminent aerospace and defence exposition in Asia, providing a platform for key players to network, share ideas, and work together to influence the aviation industry’s trajectory. The 20th–25th of February 2024 will be the 20th Singapore Airshow, an event planned and overseen by Experia Events Pte Ltd.
