First Aeromart Hyderabad: All Set To Establish A Ground For Aviation MRO

By Chaitali Bag

A new era in aviation is about to dawn on India. Not just civilian planes and trains, but also military planes and drones. There are more than 750 civilian aircraft in service in India at the moment, with an additional 1,522 aircraft scheduled for delivery by 2031. If this were to happen, India would overtake the United States and China as the third biggest market for commercial aircraft.

Demand in the global aviation sector has been experiencing tremendous upheavals recently, reflecting underlying changes in the world’s demographics, economies, and geopolitics. Inequalities are emerging as a result of these fast changes, but there are also chances to improve the environment that supports them.

There is a new and exciting potential for India’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector to help the aviation industry, and the country is in a good position to overtake many of its competitors.

The city is set to play home to Aeromart Hyderabad, an event that is being arranged in collaboration with the French Aerospace Defence Association GIFAS and industrial partners like Airbus. It is anticipated that several small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the aerospace, defence, and space sectors will profit from the event.

At Aeromart Hyderabad, India, one will find a supply chain and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) conference where approved vendors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) showcase their products, services, and skills for civil and military aircraft.

Meetings between foreign and Indian original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), top suppliers, and contract manufacturers will take place at Aeromart Hyderabad, making it a one-of-a-kind location in India.

The highlight of the event is the distinctive matching programme by BCI Aerospace, which has been a smashing success at events like Aeromart Toulouse, Aeromart Montreal, A&DSS Seattle, and Aerospace & Defence Meetings Torino before.

An unrivalled value proposition, affordable, high-quality infrastructure, and a large pool of qualified workers were the deciding factors in selecting Telangana as the site of the event. The A&D supply chain is well-established and the defence cluster is strong. R&I nexus and high innovation quotient, Hyderabad boasts an established defence manufacturing ecosystem with more than a dozen key DRDO labs and defence PSU enterprises, in addition to housing several defence aerospace and defence research laboratories like as DRDO, DRDL, RCI, BDL, MDN, Ordnance Factory, DMRL, etc. Positioned to take advantage of synergies thanks to its top-tier IT and ITeS skill pool.

With more than 1,000 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and 25 big corporations, Hyderabad’s private sector economy is robust in the aerospace and military sectors.

As a result of its prominence in the aerospace and military industries, Telangana was named the best state in this field for the last three years running (2018, 2020, and 2022).

Investors and partners from the aerospace and military industries go to Hyderabad, Telangana, all the time. The aerospace and defence industries are reliant on more than 25 major companies and over a thousand micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

With over a thousand participants and over 300 companies from over 25 countries like US, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, Japan, Austria, Morocco, Turkey, Poland, France, the inaugural Aeromart Hyderabad is sure to be a smashing success. Aeromart Hyderabad Summit, pre-arranged business-to-business meetings (B2B) based on attendees’ preferences, seminars, and workshops will make up the event’s three days of business activity.
