The company aims to provide an opportunity for aspiring candidates to meet with Airbus executives and explore career opportunities in airframe design, avionics, aircraft systems simulation, data analytics, cybersecurity and cabin engineering.
Suraj Chettri, Director of Human Resources for Airbus India and South Asia, says, “Airbus is a top destination for the very best of India’s engineering and information management talent with a passion for aerospace.” The company prides itself on creating an atmosphere of ownership for its employees, leading to recognition as a great workplace, including a recent certification from the Top Employers Institute, a global authority in people management and HR policies.
The company highlighted that the talent acquisition efforts are a part of Airbus’s 2023 global recruitment drive, during which it aims to hire more than 13,000 people worldwide. The new hires are intended to support Airbus’s industrial ramp-up, decarbonisation roadmap and preparations for the future of aviation. In addition to the talent spotting event, visitors to the Airbus stand will have the opportunity to view a range of products and innovations from its commercial, helicopter, defence and space portfolios.
Scale models of the A330 MRTT tanker, C295 military aircraft, and various aircraft models, such as the VSR700 UAS, H225M military aircraft, H160 civil helicopter, and A350 commercial aircraft, will be on display. Furthermore, digital displays of the Pléiades Neo earth observation satellite and the Sirtap tactical unmanned aerial system (UAS) will also be featured during the airshow.
